UniHacks 2026

UniHacks is an exclusive hackathon organized for the Unicode Mentees, designed to provide a platform where aspiring developers can put their learning into practice, collaborate with peers, and experience the excitement of building real-world solutions under time constraints.

2017

Experimenting: Functional programming

Vikrant, a graduate of the class of 2017, conducted the first session on Functional Programming. The session covered concepts like functional programming and clean coding. These concepts were introduced in the context of Python, Java, JS and Haskell.

2022

Hackprep 3.0

HackPrep 3.0 returned in 2022 again to get the FEs into development. The aim this year was to provide freshers a head-start to their journey of hackathons. This was done by holding interactive lectures that spanned 2 days, covering all important topics from programming fundamentals to app, front and back end development. Even the basics of git and version control were introduced to the freshers. Via Hackprep, Unicode ensures that freshers get a clear idea on how to go about exploring the vast world of development, navigate through a plethora of resources, and eventually start building their own projects.

Git Session - 1

The team of TE Mentors conducted an online session to go over the basics of using git and github, covering the most relevant commands and features that enable collaborative development
